You shouldnt need too use an uninstaller. Just delete the application in the applications folder.

Preference files are just like .txt files left behind. As OS X doesn't have a registry, these files won't be loaded or addressed once the application is removed so the only reason for searching for them to delete them is to recover a tiny amount of disk space.
I use an application called App Cleaner when I delete stuff if I remember. I don't remember very often!
