Still getting used to some of the various folders and trying to clean out excess files.
Can the files in the Apps Installs folder be deleted? They are all dmg files for apps that are also in the Applications folder.

Did a Google but couldn't see anything about this folder?

Thanks
Andrew

I don't quite follow... do you mean you put the *.dmg files in the Applications folder?

No, he means there's a backup folder containing the original DMGs for all installed apps; and is it safe to delete this folder to conserve space.

Personally I have no idea, as I didn't know it existed (n00b :o). Unless you're desperately low on hdd space though I'd imagine it's better to leave them be just in case you ever need them?

Where is it located? I thought that when you mounted the *.dmg and dragged the application to the Applications folder, it was all self contained in that and the original *.dmg was unmounted, dragged to the trash and deleted.
