Hi all,
I'm currently working (fixing) on an iMac at work which is driving me crazy! It's a 2GHz Core Duo (iMac4.1 model) running 10.5.6 and all the latest updates. I've created and setup a Boot Camp partition (as I have with several other Macs around the office) and installed Windows XP SP3. The OS installs without a hitch and it's bound to our Active Directory Domain. I've installed the drivers from the Leopard DVD (as I thought that maybe the updated drivers were causing an issue, I've gone though several reinstalls in the past week). When I log in with any account the machine freezes, displaying the desktop, start bar, clock etc. I've had it running absolutely perfectly all day under the local admin, network admin and the required network user. I've even sat here for the last 45 mins logging in and restarting to try to ensure the machine is working ok and then all of a sudden it chooses to hang, the only way to restart is to hold in the power button. After it has crashed once, any other user accounts only work once or twice before producing the same results. In short, HELP!
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!
