Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting a new 24" iMac today / tomorrow, and I'm just wondering what the chances are of Apple updating the iMac?

Also, can you upgrade the hard-drive and memory yourself in the new iMacs?

Cheers,

Wait two weeks. WWDC is coming up. There may or may not be an update.

Replacing iMac ram is very easy. Replacing the HDD requires you to pull off the screen and open the entire case.
You really don't want to be doing that.

The 24" screen is a lot better than the 20". The integrated 9400M graphics ain't so great for desktop machine.
For finder and movies it's fine but not so good in games.
So, avoid the bottom end iMac and consider the discrete card options if you will be playing any 3D games.
