iMac CPU models

Guys

What CPU model numbers are the current iMacs so I can search the benchmarks against my ageing Q9550.

Also, is it wise to buy one now or will there be an updated lot soon?

In order of spec, 2400S, 2500S, 2600S, 2400, 2600.

All of these will be faster than your current Q9550. However, unless you are desperate, I'd wait for a while as the new models are definiely going to be here relatively soon (late this year or early next year).
