Hi all,
Could someone help me select the closest monitor that would match that of the iMac, except for the LG Ultrafine (too costly).
I believe the display is so crystal clear due to it being 5K which is then reduced down to 2560x1440 (divided by 2). Applying that same logic to a 4K panel, the resolution i'd get would be 1940x1080.
So can someone explain why people are rating 4K as good, because if the screen has to be scaled (4K on 28 or even 32 is impossible to run at 1:1 and have readable text) the only benefit I can see 4K having is the improved quality due to the higher DPI when shrinking the resolution (no screen estate benefit).
Any thoughts?
