imac g5 logic board replacement questions

OK so i will cut to the chase, i dont know what these are like, whether they're any good or not, im a pc guy, i know nothing about macs lol

OK so, on with the questions

1. is it worth replacing the logic board at all?

2. iv seen the logic boards from the smaller models, as mine is the 20" one, are they compatible or am i dreaming?

3. anyone done it before?

4. what are the chances the psu is affected as well?

i have attempted to repair the original motherboard, but to no avail, and im not really wanting to sink £75 on the bay for one from america without seeking ocuk help

it powers up but will not display anything, it did originally power up and display the apple logo before it switched itself off which im assuming was due to burst capacitors, so for 75 quid to get a new logic board off ebay, just not sure what to do, i know i can remove this one and fit it myself

its defo the logic board gone now, just debating wether its worth fixing just to sell on
