iMac or MBP?

I started off with the 13inch MBP very handy to carry around but then I started abusing it using it as a desktop computer whilst on the xbox and things like that which I felt was unfair on the battery, So I kitted myself out with a 27inch iMac.. but personally I would probably go for the laptop for your needs first.

I personally am going with the Macbook Air, as it has a higher res screen, and with the new Sandybridge refresh is a much more attractive option (and actually faster). No it wont do gaming but it's not something I would want to do on a 13" laptop anyway!

The newly updated Air looks pretty nice. The recently discontinued one was looking rather long in the teeth compared to the competition but other than the new Sony Z (a lot more expensive, but a lot more powerful) the new one definitely holds its own.
