i have just brought a bargin iMac 1.83 core duo 512mb SD machine but did not have to recovery dvd with it plus the hard drive has been wiped, now i have put in a Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger dvd in it but just get a picture of a folder popping up over and over again. from looking at the side of the Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger box it does not show in the requiments the intel chip but all the G5's now basically i need to get the correct copy for it so which version of OS X do i need, quick reply would be great as i only have a few days inwhich i can hold this for before i cant bring it back and get a refund. thank you in advance.

i have tried some from the newer iMac but the install just goes round in circles which is anoyed so if anyone out there knows of anyone with this iMac i would be so happy if you could send me a copy of it! will pay !
