Observation: Why is it now the cheapest iMac you can buy is £949 (non-HE discount etc). There was a time when they had prices of £799, even £699 during Model change.
They used to be able to lure some hesitant PC users with such prices, I can't see that happening often now. The £949 isn't even *that* highly specified.
What is apple thinking?
