Wonder if you can help me.
I have a Canon ip6700 Printer connected to my Windows home server.
Bought myself a new imac and added the printer, it can be seen on the printers/network/WHS.
Loaded the appropriate drivers for it and it all looked good.
If I want to print it appears in the printer choices, and will accept being printed to.
But, even though all jobs go to the print queue, nothing gets printed they all go into a waiting status. On Hold (Authentication Required) - I have tried to create a specific user name on the WHS and attach via this.
This printer will work fine from a Windows based laptop/desktop on the network, so wondering if there is something else I need to do to get this working. (Apart from the obvious, get rid of the WHS and connect directly to Apple kit
