Imac (Replacement screen)

Hey all,

Been looking at possibly buying a used refurbished Imac (27" non Retina),clearly states that its had its Screen replaced and I asked him if it was a genuine panel and he said no,Which im happy hes honest about.

However, do you think this non genuine panel would be inferior to the genuine one? im not doing anything that would require the screen to be accurate like video editing or photo editing etc but would you guys tend to avoid non genuine panels?

Hi,i don't need to no,But I don't want one that's ancient,So ideally 2014 onwards,I think 5k came in 2015 models?

But not wanting to spend a ton either,was thinking £500,Some of them on the auction site are really overpriced for what specs they are imo.
