Main Game

• Create a character sort of like most rpgs e.g. Bethesda's games
  
  
• open world all seven kingdoms (essos if possible without watering down westeros)
  
  
• have the reputation system (from New Vegas) where houses will like or hate you depending on your actions and a general karma system.
  
  
• have the nemesis system like in shadow of mordor or somthing similar where lords or nobleman are promoted or demoted depending on the actions of the player or their actions.
  
  
• Regarding the last point you can play "the game" and go for the iron throne

Extra modes (not necessary)

• create your house mode

• similar to fallout settlement mode
• recruit people
• have smaller houses join your cause or destroy them

• bend the knee to a bigger house then turn on them or they could turn on your house depending on your actions.

• Online Mode
  • have people invade your kingdom or join your house
    
  • have a bounty system where if a house or kingdom puts a bounty on you or a player it can be claimed by invading and assassinating the target.

Game of Thrones RPG by Cyanide might not be open and it has low production values, but it told a fantastic story that I would recommend to any fan of the books/show.

Yeah I'd buy it, I'd like to be able to work my way up from a youngster in flea bottom to avoiding being sent to the wall to being able to join bands of bandits across the 7 kingdoms or joining the Lanister Armies etc, have different story arcs for each choice you make depending on if you're born in the north/south/iron islands et al chose if you are born into a family, chose to be a maester or a blacksmith or another one of hundreds of different stories.

Endless hours of fun right there, probably be about x6 the size of all the GTA games put together - sadly, probably, a huge dream that will never be realised.

It's not Game of Thrones themed, but this is essentially what Chronicles of Elyria has set out to do - everything is player driven in an MMO setting. Certainly sounds interesting and has some promise.

Make it a purely PvP MMO style.

3 houses, Stark, Lannister, Targaryen. At the beginning of the game you create your character and select your house. You then fight over land/castles etc... and whichever house dominates the most by the end of a week/month long battle, that house is announced the ruler of Westeros. Map resets and you start again.

Plot twist, randomly at any point in the battle the 3 houses receive a message from a raven about the incoming army of the dead heading to the wall, then players are randomly picked to join the army of the dead. They are more powerful and require all 3 houses to work together to destroy them or they all lose and the army of the dead win.

I have no idea what I'm on about.

For the full GoT experience the character you're playing should be brutally murdered after a while and become permanently unplayable.

Then you have to continue from a different angle on a new character.

Yes you did and I thought that too myself too it's just that the strategy one is the only Game of Thrones game I could find (aside from the Telltale one) when I searched. Where can I learn about the RPG game, got a link?
