image help

Hi guys i need this image without the white background but no matter how hard i try i cant get rid of it, any chance someone can help me out please

the white is to close to the background and its a poor resolution making it very hard to extract. ive done my best though.

darkening the image has helped me cut it out. looks better like this anyway.

obviously ive coloured the background blue to show you the effect. i can email you the psd if you like.

in fact if you have photoshop you can easily erase the background from the second image, just use the magic eraser it will take it out perfectly.
