trying to leanr how ti take an image of someone from on picture and paste it into another seamlessly....im using psp9....so far ive used the lasoo tool with smart edge and its iffy...its hard to get the bits isnde arms and the such and the edges dont line exactly..i asl tried to paste one pic on top of the other and erase around the top pic to leave the figure i want to insert into the bottom later pic..however both methods leave obviuos pixels around edges..i have seen others do this and its almost impossible to see the manipulation..... so im wondering how you guys do it...any hints and pointers to the best technique?

A lot of time and patience!

Not sure about psp, but in ps you can do that, then maybe feather the edges of the selection (blur the edges a bit) which makes it less obvious, or just blur the edges manually. Also if you have a mask function so no actual erasing happens, that is often better as its non-destructive
