Image of Laptop

Hey,
Been given a laptop to format and reinstall XP on whcih is what I am going to do but what is the best free tool to make an image file backup of the system just incase it needs to be restored?

No Matter, backed up everything needed anyway onto Portable HDD

For future reference, or to let you create a restore image after you've got all your drivers and basic programs set-up:

True Image 2010 is great but not free. For free look at Clonezilla.
