Does anyone here provide stock photos? If so, how much do you generally charge for a one-off fee?

I've been contacted by a tourist board who are potentially interested in my images for their free photo service. I've been asked for guideline prices but have no idea what to suggest. Photos can be downloaded as low-res free of charge with a small charge for higher-res images, with full accreditation given to the photographer.

It'll be a nice way to get a bit of publicity if it comes off, so I don't want to over-charge, but also I don't want to mis a potential opportunity to pay off some of the camera or buy some more gear!

Any thoughts?

publicity will be your best friend as you start publishing so don't charge too much. As for pricing i wouldn't have a clue tbh, how many people are likely to see the photo(s)? What kind of size do they want, there are a lot of factors to consider.

Zheka's link is a good guide. Don't be too scared of asking what may seem a high price, there can be a lot of money being flung around in photography.

THe guide was very useful, though I'm acutely aware they've asources no new photos in 12 months due to budget limitations.

£30-50 seems to be the going rate for web use photos on a non-exclusive basis. I'm thinking a sliding scale, depending on quantity, based loosely around this scale. It'll likely be toward the lower end, given the opportunity for publicity if it comes off!
