Image resizing in bundles?

I can resize pics in photoshop at the moment alright, but is there any apps that let you resize a whole load of pictures at the same time?
I'm trying to reduce space on my laptops hdd, as I have pictures that are about 5mb each and are are silly resolutions, i'd like them all to be brought to a nice 124x768 resolution, doing these seperately would take me years.

Does anyone know of any programs that can do this?

You can do it in Photoshop but I always use Image Resizer PowerToy from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

IrfanView is the best imo
