Hello

I am having saome trouble with the display from my new comp. The image being displayed is too large (Desktop shortcut icons and utility bar cut in half etc..) and text is a bit out of focus.

The resolution is set to 1920x1080, the monitor is a samsung S22A350H and my card is a GTX 570. I can resize the image but that does not resolve the focus problem so I suspect that is not what I need to be doing.

Also the monitor is saying auto adjustment not available when I try to do that.

I spoke to some guy at oc and he said change the resolution and asked if I really needed to see all my desktop icons...

Can anyone offer more help than this please?

EDIT: Please Ignore, problem solved:)

How did you solve this issue... always nice to know things like this especially when I have the same setup as yours!

By the sound of it the monitor driver was wrong. This can cause Windows to run a full size desktop but with a lower display resolution so you get auto-scrolling as you move the mouse around. Tell tale signs are when Windows will let you select a desktop size that is higher than the monitors maximum res, or sets the max res available to less than what the monitor can actually display.

Thanks ed - always nice to know things such as this for if I ever experiance them myself!

I don't think it was the monitor driver as I already had the OP install the correct driver before he started this thread.

I left him playing around with the display options in the Nvdia Control Panel.
