Images in an sql table

Im trying to get display output from my catalogue (SQL table)

in the table i have created a field called "image" the datatype of this field is text (or tiny text) , inside for each item a url is entered in the image field

"http://www.blahblahblah.com/blah/blah/111.jpg"

the table is then updated with this information..

in the php then i have a div which contains all fields and their results. i have included the image field in this..

its does not seem to want to display the image output, the page loads with no errors but no image has been loaded.

is the code correct or am i going the wrong way?

Is there a URL in the img tag if you do view->source on the HTML that code generates?

it'll be easier to save the file to your server and pop a relative link in the DB for it. you CAN put images in databases but I can't help you with how you'd go about getting it out of the MySQL database with PHP. ASP.net and SQLServer yes PHPs stuff not a hope.
