In my Brain...
Some of my favourite images I've taken across 2014.

I've tired to develop my processing skills so any advice on over-processing or what worked well would be appreciated.

I'm more of a landscape and wildlife guy but a couple of comments on the portraits first...

Image 2 and 6 both look like you haven't got the white and black levels correct. That may be what you're aiming for but to me they look very flat. I'd say with 6 you need to up the whites a lot to get the white scarf reasonably white.

Really like no.'s 8,9 and 10, although with 10 I wonder if a play with the white balance (or selective white balance) may be in order. This could be the style you're going for but to my eyes the whites look a little yellow.

Image 2 I was trying to go for a flat faded look to go with the bricks which had white marks on and I'm not skilled enough yet to clone them out, I'll have a play with the white and black levels and see what variants come out.

After a second look I kinda agree with 6 I was trying to go for a toned effect but after comparing it with 5 the scarf is definitely off a bit :)

Cheers, with 10 I was trying to go for the film effect as I've printed it and used the printers colour profiles it might look a bit off, but the print came out ok and the whites look white :)
