Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

AEG direct were still out of stock of the Series 9 heat pump drier I wanted, but there was a promotion on at John Lewis so ordered one to go with the washing machine I bought end of Nov. Wasn't quite as cheap as AEG direct (get 25% off their site through work perks app and can stack some discount codes)

I can't wait for them to make an air fryer more efficient than a gas oven, which is why I haven't bought an air fryer - I don't believe they are more efficient than gas ovens, just electric ovens.

Are they really any good? I find my mums gas oven a nightmare; but in all fairness I was skint when I re-did her kitchen so its just a Belling thing.
Not more energy efficient nor more time efficient. Just more cost efficient because had is one third the price.

And no, gas ovens are crap IME. I don't know if you can get gas ovens with fans, and it's the air circulation that makes electric ovens better.

Decided to try my hand at making my own beats (latest of a long line of hobbies which I normally get bored of!). I bought the Arturua Minilab 3 midi controller (left) from amazon and Maschine Mikro MK2 (Pad controller on right) second hand. It's a steep learning curve (lots of youtube tutorials) but sounds great.

How is the quality of these? I was reading reviews, I heard it sorta sounded creaky and cheap, but the controller was much better value than the Akai MPK Mini Mk3.

Yes, the learning curve is insane, am just trying to remake the sounds to play MGMT Kids and few other basic old classics, but having no luck right now.

I,ve got the Arturia keylab essential 49, its pretty cool for the price, comes set up for a few different DAWs too.

have you monitored energy consumption ?

Leaving the stickers on .. like dlockers rice cooker, or the proverbial smart phone or oled tv screen protector.

One thing you SHOULD leave on is the Fire Label attached to sofas/seats etc as, if you end up donating them, they cannot take them without the labels still attached (so I am told)

Flights.. Many flights...booked.

Cheaper than train though!
Did the same!

HA, yes, I expect our journeys to Heathrow is about the same distance. Even though I go by myself....I just prefer driving to the trains and bus. I just don't have to worry about matching up all the transport connections and have to land in certain hours of the day.

p.s. I land at like 10pm so there won't be any trains or buses that late.....a night in airport hotel when I just want to get home, no thanks.

Yeah. Plus trains in UK are a lottery. You have to leave so much time spare. I'm taking a bus this time as gf needs car at home. So I'm getting a morning flight and staying near LHR night before.

We've not used it yet, need to wipe the drum down and do the initial load with damp laundry as per the manual. I'll probably wash some towels and let them air dry slightly to do that, can't wait to have softer towels again!

I need to start building up some quality tools, I literally only have some cheap Vonhouse things from Amazon.
