Images slow to load in Browser

I have a Macbook Pro & so does my GF and when I'm at her house images seem to load really slow or not load at all on mine, both on the same network and both using Wifi and her loads straight away. Tried Firefox & Safari and have the same problem.

you might be using a different security protocol? like WPA or WEP
