Imaging drive, Deleting raid, Reinstalling.

Im simply wanting to delete the raid 0 array ive got and get rid of one of the drives since I dont need it.

So, Im thinking imaging the drive, formatting both the drives and then reinstalling is going to work? Or is there some sort of special procedure to be done.

Why not just back up what you need and then break the RAID and put a fresh install on?

It will take about the same time.

Reinstalling all my games and apps is what takes the biscuit though. It would take too long.

I think you might also need to clear the config data on the drive in the RAID controller BIOS, to stop it thinking that it's part of an array. This might get cleared anyway if you do a full format, but it only takes a few seconds to do.
