Good morning all,

I've recently setup a Virtual Machine using VMWare Player to our exact standard and I'm wondering if it's possible to;

A) Install all required drivers to this machine for all of the different models of Laptops & Desktops.

B) Take an image this machine then use a tool like Clonezilla to image any computer we have. Would Sysprep/Answer File be the only way to do this?

Thanks.

I'm assuming your wanting to use a Virtual Machine as a sort of template to roll out to all your desktops/laptops?
if this is the case then there are better methods out there :) ie Ghost, Nlite, or FOG (takes a while to setup but will be worth it)

Yeah, I have 7 on my laptop. I was using as a testing platform for Updates/RemoteApps Client and thought there might be a way for me to create an image from it.

Used Nlite before a while ago, will take a look. Thanks.

Theoretical you could, but it would be a lot of messing around and may do funny things to Windows.
It would be quite a good thing to have a go at by all means but not something to rely on when production machines are at stake :)
