iMessage Contacts

I keep meaning to get iMessage sorted but never get around to it

When I use it, it only shows the mobile numbers and no names. How can I get it so iMessage always shows the contact name and not number?

Try changing your phone language from English to English(uk) or the reverse and restart.
It's worked for some people.

From experience, iMessage only works to show their details if your contacts are on the same platform (i.e. iOS).

If their contacts aren't showing up in iMessage (which should), maybe you didn't save their numbers within your contacts list.
