On my phone in the iMessage/FaceTime settings I have 2 phone numbers from 2 contracts I've had with the same Apple ID. Obviously the old number is no good to me. How do you remove it? I've been trying for ages and can't figure out how.

Did you find an answer to this, as my google fu is weak.

My mate had an iphone 5 with a new number until his ported over. Trouble is now both numbers show on his imessage and the option to delete the temp number is greyed out. Any idea's?

Make sure 'my number' under the settings menu (and thus displayed in the phone app) matches your actual number, and hasn't got stuck on the old un-ported number.

Then turn imessage/facetime off on all your devices.
Restart the devices.
Turn iMessage/Facetime on on all devices.
Go to settings -> Message / FaceTime, tick your new phone number and un-tick your old number (note: it never gets removed completely, but you can select not to allow people to contact you on it).

Thats how i fixed it anyway.

iMessage issues

As per the title really - is anyone else having iMessage issues over the last couple of days?

I was sending iMessages fine yesterday but this morning about 3 messages went as text messages then started sending as imessages again, this has happend a few times over the last couple of days - just wondering if anyone else has had this happen?
