iMessage/txt from Windows?

Morning,

I know this feature is possible if you have a Mac (sign into your iCloud and iMessage/SMS from your Mac to anyone on your contacts list), however, does anyone know of any apps for Windows that allow you to do this?

If there is no existing app for Windows, I can't imagine it would be that complicated to create one? (assuming you had the expertise, is it not just signing into the same service, but from Windows?)

MightyText? No idea if it works for iOS, but I've got it installed into Chrome for my Note 2 and it works very well. Does all notifications in fact - email, WhatsApp, Google Now cards etc...

Not sure about normal SMS texts but I'm pretty sure iMessage will be impossible unless Apple releases a public API for it... which is very unlikely...
