Imgur question

I have just signed in to Imgur and I am finding it a bit of a PITA - I can down load pictures - I can post them on here and that's about it. I have pictures in Images but I need to put them in albums -cat's -bikes -etc but after googling and Imgur help threads I can't for the life of me move images to albums - I can't get images and albums on same page- I have clicked to make them private at the moment -would that stop it - I just don't see the same pages they show on the help lines.
The simpler the answer the better.

If this is wrong forum please move.

I too find Imgur a pain.. but with photobucket not being free anymore, there aren’t many good hosters about.

I also have the issue of moving images into albums.. and have since given up.

if you create an album and within that album, add images, it’s fine, but I can’t seem to move non-album images into existing albums.. especially when it complains the images are public and not private.. so I try and make them private (which doesn’t give notification of doing so) and move, which looks as if they have done, till I refresh the page only to find out all efforts I made reverted back to what they were originally.

I've lost trust in image hosts after being screwed over by Photobucket and Dropbox. Imgur is about the best out there at the moment but still isn't perfect. I host my own now using Chevereto.

I have given up already - all I wanted was a host site to put pictures on forums etc.
My previous one was Picturetrail which was free but I paid $19 a year for the extra storage space. Worked very well for last 20 yrs but unfortunately they are withdrawing picturetrail as of 28th of this month so I needed a quick prog to move pictures from a forum I am on as they are a sticky - I have changed them over now so I will just use Imgur for forum pictures.

I quite like imgur, here is where you create an album, and on the right hand side you can add/move images to the chosen album.
