To be slightly more helpful, I took a 1667% RDA vitamin C suplement every day and I avoided all colds/illness for several months. I stopped taking them and I got ill, agh.
Getting 7 hours sleep per night (not 8+)
Having moderate positive stress in your life.
Moderate exercise
Get some fresh air and sunlight
Drink enough fluids like water, don't overdo alcohol, tea, coffee, fizzy drinks.
Eat a balanced diet and try to cut down on processed foods - ie the closer to nature the less harm it does you.

I don't think theres much chance of kidney stones at my age. Obviously it is better to get vitamin C from citrus fruits and have a lower dose.Don't take more than 1000mg of Vitamin C in a day as you may get kidney stones and the squitters. So it says in my book.
Im extremely healthy and eat very very healthy yet I get problems all the time, varied of course, but if theres a virus going about I'll get it, had pnemonia (sp?), pancreatitus, gall stones etc etc. Point is it's the luck of the draw imo, I get all the *** going yet im very healthy, yet everyone I know who smokes like a chain smoker, drinks like a fish, and eats like the guy from super size me is perfectly healthy and dodges all the ilnesses and goes through life without any problems. Explain that.
