Ok. Downloaded. Installed. For the love of god how do I get clips I have taken with other cameras on to it to edit? I am still stunned such an obvious question threw the geek in the Apple store. But I still haven't figured it out either.

It is supposed to work with my Flip HD ultra. Plug that directly into the camera connection kit and you get a 'this device uses too much power' error. Transfer the files to an SD card and use the camera connection kit SD reader. Fail. Put into iTunes, convert for iPad. Sync. Fail. ( they show up and play in camera roll but don't pull through to iMovie). Convert to iPad format with handbrake, install directly to imovievapp via iTunes. Fail.

Total farce. Can it be done or is it just a toy for iPhone and iPad snippets?

it sort of makes sense but it doesn't

I mean you're not going to start syncing loads of video onto the iPad to make a 'movie'
If you have an iPhone4 the camera is good so you could make something nice, but the iPad camera is rubbish so it's rather silly.

I had wanted to take it on holiday with me and use it to very quickly make a nice home video from my Flip footage whilst I was out there. (if I don't do it quickly it will never get done!). Apple fail.
