If you are living abroad and buy several expensive goods, when you move back to the UK, are you subject to import tax on said goods?
In this case I want to buy a new TV and take it back to the UK when I leave Thailand, which will be around dec/january. Will I have to pay import duty? Somebody has mentioned that if the goods are 6 months or older you do not have to pay import tax on them. Can anyone confirm this?
