Import duty/VAT and Returns.

Long story short, bought some parts from outside the EU for the throttle bodies on my old beetle.
Spoke with the seller to check they'd be suitable and they confirmed it would work fine.
Paid £148 delivered, + £26 import duty and VAT.

The company has agreed to pay for return shipping, as my arguement was that I hadn't made an error, they advised me wrong. Do I expect to receive £148 minus original shipping ($25us). £148 refund maybe or any chance of £174?

import duty has nothing to do with them ... get a receipt for return try your luck with tax office
depending on them they can just take the postage .. depends what country
