import fees sending monitor to Belgium? What can i expect?

I want to send an old-ish Dell monitor (22" 2209WA LCD) to a friend of mine in Belgium. I was just wondering if anyone knows if he will be hit with any import duty or VAT, etc? It's just a gift, and while it's a big item in a box, I'm not charging him for it so rather than he be hit with fees, just trying to figure out the situation so i can tell him what to expect.

So, does anyone know or done something like this?

Nothing, its within the EU. No VAT, no duty.

People rma loads of stuff abroad on here and no one gets hit for extra fees.
