I've got it into my head that it's a good idea to sell off all my PAL N64 stuff and replace with an NTSC model with just the essential games. I've got a few questions that I hope someone can help me with.

Will my PAL expansion pack work with the NTSC console?

Do I need a step down jobby or would a 240V power supply work on an NTSC machine? I'm guessing it could as the transformer must be in the power pack.

Also, is it possible to modify all NTSC consoles to output an RGB signal or is it just the older ones? If it is just the older ones then just how old should I be aiming to get?

I'm not quite sure why I want to do this... just seems a good idea at the moment :)

Ahh N64.. sold mine ages ago but from what I remember, my imported console worked with an expansion pak bought here. Plugging the power supply from your PAL console will work with the NTSC machine. I bought mine shortly after the launch date so I guess it was an old machine. I had to mod it for RGB output with an old SNES cable. Can't remember doing it but it must've been simple enough if I did it :D

Only older n64's can be rgb modded first 2 revisions of the hardware are normally fine for this.

Do a google search and there is a way to check via serial number If memory serves me correctly.
