Important: Powerpoint movie embedding help needed!

Hi all

I am trying to get a movie into a powerpoint slide for a presentation tomorrow morning.

It wont let me do it, I think its saying the wrong file type. I have tried .flv and .mpeg4 types.

Any ideas how to change the file types to a compatible one such as .avi or mpeg2?

You'll probably find the relevant video encoding software somewhere:

... but as you haven't got long maybe you could just run the video outside of powerpoint. Stop the Powerpoint, show the video, then go back to Powerpoint.

Just an idea as it's late ...

I have an AVI format file now, but it will not play in power point

i give up!

Got this to work by using a WMV file type
