importing a folder list into Excel?

Is there a way i can get a list of folders from a drive partition and then import them into excel?

can i export them in DOS some how to a file and then import that file to Excel?

i did it by doing the following

c:\dir > c:\text.txt

puts it all into a text file.

Then import this into excel and use the column you need
