Importing a Japanese car

Hello, I searched for a thread about this but couldn't find one. I guess there isn't much of a scene for these on here.

Anyhow I'm keen on getting a Nissan 370z and the ones I've looked at in the UK are OK but none had everything I wanted.

So I'm looking to import from Japan. Had anyone done this? Are there any pitfalls or risks (other than buying a car you haven't physically seen)

Doh I did a search for Japanese not JDM.... I didn't know what JDM was until now lol
