importing console accessory advice

hi - i want a 2nd controller for my ps3 so my girlfriend can play

i refuse to buy a sixaxis as the dualshock3 is coming out soon
and im never buying a third party pad

i have seen it on a few asian importer sites for the same price as a 6axis

does anybody know/have any experience/advice

for or against this

i just dont see the point in getting a six axis for three months or so then wanting a dualshock

EDIT* will not consider using online auctions from sellers outside uk
 
where from though?
any suggestions
safe online retailers etc

i know anything would be an improvement on the sixaxis
 
why not use online auctions from sellers outside uk?, if your using the bay then there is planty of Uk stores that ship them from Japan for you, thats how i got mine, it took 5 days from Japan

Sadly the rules here prevent us from telling you the name of the site, as they are perceived as a competitor to OcUK.

(This may be why you have not received the reply you are after). Not a constructive post myself, but certainly informative, I would hope :)

There is a place famous for selling CD's that stocks them now, that's about all I can tell you and that's probbaly pushing it.
