Importing Favourites on Google Chrome?

I have just built a new computer and want to import my favourites into Google Chrome from my other computer.

I saved the favourites to a folder which i placed on the desktop of my new computer but want to import them directly into the browser.

Can this be done and if so how please.

just sync with you Google account

Assuming you exported them to a html file, 3 dot menu button -> Bookmarks -> Bookmark Manager, then on the bookmark page that loads up, click on Organise and click import bookmarks from HTML file.
