importing favourites to IE 10

I'm trying to import Favourites from a file into IE 10, and it won't work. That after clicking on the star, and following the correct sequence after that.

What is the file type? It might be an incompatible format, so see if you can get the file as a .html.

Had a look, it is a saved as a HTML document.

Have you tried importing them to other browers to check if the file is fine?

got it loaded up in Firefox, then used FF to import it up in IE10.
