Importing iPod Touch

I have a friend who is going to America in a few weeks, I'm mightily tempted to ask her to get me a 16GB Touch. I would be saving about £50-£60 when VAT is taken in to account :cool:

My main question is will the Apple Warranty be valid in the UK since it was purchased in the states?

If the warranty is valid is there anything else I should be aware of before I go ahead and do it?

Yes, Apple warranties are worldwide.

Yup, mine is a Xmas present from Canada so you'll be OK

As said. All apple warranties are honored world wide (sign of a decent ethical company - take note MS and SONY).
