Importing mail back into Hotmail?

Hi all,

I setup Thunderbird to use hotmail and now all my mail has been downloaded to Thunderbird. There is a setting to make sure the mail gets left on the server for future mail but how do I get my old stuff back?

I assume that since you didn't tick that box in the first place, your mail's been deleted from the hotmail server. Unless it's moved it into a deleted items folder or something.

I access my Hotmail through Outlook - I can simply drag and drop it back into my Hotmail account.

But like Ascendancy said, I think when you move it out of your account, it deletes the emails and they'll be in your 'deleted items' folder.....

If they're not, i'd try the Outlook method (assuming you can't do it from Thunderbird, and you can export the mail into an Outlook PST file).
