importing problem. camcorder to comp.

hello,

im trying to import videos from my digital video recorder which i used to do normally via a 'firewire'. camera model is a sony TVR330e. now my newish comp - HP p6109uk hasnt a firwire or 1394 connection port! so can anyone help. i could try to record it to a disk on the dvd recorder but its a very 'long way' round of down doing things every time i want to add videos from my camcorder to the comp (currently using 'Magic' software). advice or suggestions...

never thought about installing extra ports. anyone know if its easier enough on my model of comp? presume it come with drivers etc? thanks for the help m8.
 
I couldn't get my old firewire card to work under Vista, I haven't tried it yet under Windows 7 though.
