Importing vehicle from Ireland

I'm looking at buying a motorhome and have just spotted one that's in Ireland for just under £5k. It looks an absolute bargain.

I know there's issues around travelling that far to find that it's a hunk of poo, but how much would it cost to bring that across to this country? Is it VAT & import tax? It's obviously 2nd hand.

Should be no import tax or VAT as my understanding goes. Ireland is part of the EU.

I'd be wary since normally things in UK are much cheaper than Ireland.... hence why so many Irish people buy cars in UK and ship them back.....
