With the likes of Asian games exporters selling 360 games for £23 delivered do you think your 2nd hand games are worth anything? Would this force other European retailers to drop prices or will Asian exporters realise they are selling games too cheap and increase their price?

I've still been able to sell games on Ebay second hand for more than they cost new from play-asia.

I think they'll always be worth about half the cost of what was originally paid.

If you saw a game that was new for £23 at an asian store, and someone was offering it for sale on the MM for £28, I'm sure 50% of people would pay the extra fiver to get it quicker and not risk any duty.

I've not actualy bought anything from these sites as of yet but will be doing so if the right game comes up.

My last games i bought from an online shop was Saints Row & Dead Rising for £39.99 but i had a 2x £10 off vouchers so was £29.99 each.

The fact you can get them for 40%/45% or so cheaper than we can in this country is just so big a saving its kinda of stupid not to buy from them.

You also have to remember you can be hit for tax. You have to figure that into the price when you order from play-asia.

If I didnt want to wait for games I'd happily pay a few quid more than someone else did originally for an import. Say if wyrdo brought Marvel for £24 I'd buy it off him for £26/7 to get it the next day.

Either that or wait 2 weeks from play asia yourself. What gets me is people buying from them for £24 then moaning they dont have it inside of 10 days.

Not everything goes smoothly with imports. I bought a DS game from yes-asia over a month ago, and the other day they have sent a reshipment as after a month it hadn't arrived - presumed lost somewhere in the post.

Though I've never imported english games from asia, didn't even realise there was worth in doing this, I'll look into it though.

Its a fair comment to say you might not get as much when you sell the games but i would still rather get my hands on 360 games brand new at bargain prices .

The general public aren't aware of sites like play-asia, or that you can buy region free games so cheaply.

I'm tight, so Play-Asia is the way forward...don't generally resell my games though as I am not a hardcore gamer. Just keep them for prosperiety for a few years then sell them at a ridiculously low price when I get rid of the console  :o
