i recently built my first rig and at the same time purchased a 32inch hd lcd which ive been using for gaming. been a while since i bought a game but last couple i played were hl2, doom3, quake 4 etc. im looking for a new game to get into thats visually stunning(clearly has to be a decent game as well) as i want to see what my new rig can really do. sont worry, it should run anything out now on full so what suggestions you guys have for a recently released game that is going to impress me
 
in all honestly, i just cant wait for the next installment of hl to come out. what about far cry. never got round to it. hows that

Was playing a bit of Oblivion over the weekend and have to agree.

It is the only game I have played recently where I have stopped doing what ever I am doing and just stood there watching the sun come up because it looked so good!

This is what Oblivion looked like with my old mod setup. I've just changed and updated my mods, and it now looks even better!

Farcry looks like this, although I hadnt tweaked it and added HDR etc, so it can look better!
