With the warmer weather I had to run my 10980XE at stock, tonight it is cool enough to run my overclock I ran Timespy and was pretty impressed with my results:-

CPU Score 12,880
Graphics 14,341
Timespy score 14,101

Am sure this card will keep me happy for a while at 1440P 72Hz.

It's a very nice card for 1080p/1440p.

Even the best cards like the RTX 3080 TI/ 3090 TI are still struggling to play some games at 4K, like Warhammer 3 or Flight simulator.

Loving mine, especially as it only cost around £200 to upgrade once I sold my Vega 56. Just undervolted, cheeky 5% bump and ~10 degrees cooler. Win.

This^

My 1080Ti still does fine @ 1440p.

Any jump from here is likely to be expensive, so I'll wait until 4k at well north of 100 fps is a given. Anything less would be a waste of money in my situation.

For normal time spy you will get a better score with ht off. For time spy extreme it's scores higher with ht on :)

You're talking at Ultra settings presumably? I used to play Warhammer2 on my 1060 6GB at 1440p so if that's the case at normal settings I'm surprised

Some of the settings can be really demanding, like the VFX setting and shadows. SSAO too. The campaign map looks very detailed though, so I'd say it's worth it.

They removed DX12 support (which was still in beta in WH2) with a post release patch, which I think is a shame. Leaving Hyperthreading on seems to reduce the minimum framerate, so there's defintely some more work to do optimizing CPU performance.
