Bought a 4850 for my brother (XFX 'xxx' edition) with 650MHz core, 1050MHz memory (standard 4850's have 625MHz core I believe).

Thought I could probably take it to 675MHz or so...

So far I'm at 710MHz on the core and 1101MHz on the memory and the card doesn't even seem bothered! How high do these things usually go? Must say I'm impressed so far

My 3DMark Vantage graphics score is up over 10% !!!!

I think it should max around 750MHz if you're lucky.

Sounds like you got a nice specimen, what sort of temps?

43 idle 60 load

Up to 721MHz core 1101MHz memory, the core doesn't want to seem to go any higher than that, but im pretty pleased with that, much more than I expected!

I may be able to push the memory further though.
