Hi guys, just quickly pieced this together for a friend - he has a budget of £400 give or take, has anyone got any recommendations or swaps for a budget tower?

Yes, go for the pentium G4560 for the most bang for buck in a budget build.

In the moment the g4560 destroy any CPU on its class

edit - and fair play, that's a bloody good overclock on the pII

Here's an idea. Could get this much cheaper board with similar features:

It'll probably need a bios flash to accept the G4560, which I can do if you drop the board round to mine.

Yeah it's gonna get some gaming usage, I think he wants to play the new warhammer game? Not really sure about it but I chose an entry/mid card - shouldn't struggle too much with modern games

Haha excellent, I was born and lived in Shirley most my life, live in Kings Norton now and work just round the corner from you in Tyseley, office just by the recycling plant (so so scenic)

And thanks, that overclock took me ages. It's not at that anymore, the components are getting on for 8 years old and I can't afford replacements at the moment so I've clocked it down to 3.8ghz for safety
